
Tim Gunter Named a Top 'Executive of the Year'
Atlanta, GA (October 24, 2008) -- Tim Gunter, president and CEO of IDI, has been named as one of the top 3 executives in the Industrial Real Estate category of Commercial Property News magazine's Executive of the Year awards.
The awards, which will be presented at a luncheon November 14, recognize executives across the real estate sector. Gunter was voted by his peers as one of the industry’s top executives.
In his role as president and CEO of IDI, Gunter is committed to establishing IDI as a leader in sustainable development, which includes the company’s participation in the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification program.
Gunter is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Sustainable Development Council and is a trustee of the Georgia Conservancy, a state-wide environmental organization dedicated to the appreciation and protection of Georgia’s natural environment.
He also serves on the Alumni Steering Committee for the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, the Board of Directors of Batson-Cook Development, and the Endowment Board of the Paideia School, a non-profit corporation that provides educational services to children ages 3 to 18.
