Development
Kurt Nelson
Senior Vice President and Regional Development Officer

Kurt, who joined IDI in 1995, is responsible for directing IDI’s operations in the Memphis and Nashville markets. With a focus on high-quality building standards and innovation, IDI has established a reputation as a leading developer in the Memphis market, producing more than 20 million square feet since 1989.
Kurt directed IDI’s expansion into the Nashville market at Wilson Commerce Center, where IDI has developed one Class-A facility of 556,600 square feet with plans for future development. Previously, Kurt handled the leasing of IDI’s properties in the Memphis office. Prior to joining IDI, Kurt worked for both CB Commercial and NationsBank in Atlanta.
Tim Moore
Vice President, Leasing

Tim is responsible for the marketing and leasing of both IDI-owned development properties and third-party-owned buildings in the Memphis development office in Memphis, Tennessee, DeSoto County, Mississippi, and West Memphis, Arkansas.
Prior to joining IDI in 2005, Tim was Regional Marketing Director at The Pauls Corp., where he was responsible for marketing, leasing and land sales at Gateway Park, a master-planned mixed-use development in Aurora, Colorado. Earlier in his career, he worked as Marketing Representative for ProLogis in Memphis and was responsible for leasing the Memphis industrial portfolio.
Rob Fischer
Vice President, Construction

As Vice President of Construction, Rob oversees all construction activities from due diligence through project sale. Since joining IDI in 1990, Rob has managed the construction of projects totaling more than 22 million square feet in the Memphis, Cincinnati and Dallas markets. At various times during his tenure with IDI, Rob also has worked with IDI’s Strategic Development Services (SDS) group on Circuit City and United Parcel Service (UPS) projects.
Before joining IDI, Rob worked as Construction Manager at L.J. Hooker, as Project Engineer for Pace Construction and as Project Manager at Munford Corp. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
Chris Lee, LEED AP
Development Manager

Since joining IDI in 1996, Chris has managed the inception and completion of more than 30 projects totaling over 10 million square feet, utilizing his 28+ years of construction and real estate development experience. In his management capacity, he is responsible for developing land estates, building and tenant infill construction, as well as the due diligence process for land acquisitions.
In addition, Chris holds an LEED Accredited Professional designation from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and is a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). He is actively involved in the USGBC and has served two years on the organization’s Adaptation Committee. His experience with the USGBC and the LEED certification process has played a key role in IDI successfully certifying the first two LEED Silver industrial projects in the Mid-South.
Sharon Stallings
Office Manager

Sharon joined IDI in 1997 as Administrative Assistant for IDI Services Group. In 2004, she was promoted to Office Manager for IDI’s Memphis market office, and is responsible for all administrative functions, overhead and development accounting as well as its daily operations.
Property Management
Mary Leesa Simmons

As Vice President of Real Estate Management for the Memphis development office, Mary Leesa directs the management of more than 10 million square feet of operating properties in Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, as well as in Mississippi and Arkansas.
Mary Leesa joined IDI in 1989 as an Office Manager. After being quickly promoted to Property Manager, Mary Leesa successfully managed more than 3.5 million square feet in Memphis while also establishing the IDI property management office in Dallas. Mary Leesa and her team are dedicated to tenant and client service, and credits her strong sense of humor for her ability to get along with people, both personally and professionally.
Connie McIntyre
Senior Real Estate Manager

A third generation “Memphian,” Connie has managed commercial real estate in the Memphis area for more than 25 years. Her current IDI management portfolio consists of over 5 million square feet of industrial space located in the Memphis and Mississippi markets in addition to two owner associations. Connie joined IDI in 2001.
Connie’s previous management experience spans all types of commercial real estate – from industrial to office and retail. Prior to joining IDI, Connie was with Trezevant Realty Corp. as Vice President of Property Management and Trammell Crow Company where she was the Director of Property Management for office buildings, retail centers and industrial properties.
Lauren McCown
Real Estate Administrator

Lauren currently assists with managing property for the Memphis market office. As Administrator, she has provided much support for all aspects of the office for the past seven years. Prior to working at IDI, Lauren worked for Harrah’s Entertainment as a Communications and Human Resources Specialist.
Lauren holds Bachelors’ degrees in Communications and Fine Arts. In addition, she has earned her Tennessee Real Estate License.
Hayden "Ray" Dill
Senior Building Services Engineer

As Senior Building Services Engineer, Ray is responsible for maintaining efficient operations of all building systems, including fire protection, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofing systems.
Ray, who joined IDI’s Memphis office in 1998, was instrumental in helping establish the Engineering Program for the company’s Eastern and Western development offices. He has 25 years of experience in office and industrial maintenance, and worked at Trammell Crow Company prior to joining IDI.
